Reiki allows the body to heal itself naturally, according to the body's needs. Reiki facilitates our natural innate ability to heal emotional, mental and physical ills - the body receives a 'boost' from direct access to our Universal God Source.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Reiki Practitioner places hands in a specific position on the body so the Reiki energy can flow through the hands to the body. For example, a person may feel fatigued and stressed out - and the Reiki Practitioner may be guided to place hands on the person's adrenal gland area on the upper back. The energy flow will be revitalizing and healing for the exhausted person.
Reiki may be performed while a person is lying down or sitting in a chair. The person always remains fully clothed.
Reiki can be performed on another person or on oneself. It is also healing for animals and plants.
Reiki may also be performed long distance, where the Reiki Practitioner and the receiving person connect energetically and the Practitioner transmits Reiki to the receiving person.

In a Reiki class, all students receive an 'attunement.'
In this sacred initiation process, the students receive an opening of their energetic channels, allowing the Universal Life Force Energy to flow through strong and clear.

USUI REIKI LEVELS
Usui Reiki is taught in three levels; Reiki I, Reiki II and Master level.
Reiki I - initial attunement to Reiki flow and instruction on hand placement. Practice takes place in class so students have a sense of how to perform Reiki and what it feels like. This is a 5 to 6 hour class.
Reiki II - a second attunement, specifically for the Reiki power symbols of healing. These symbols are used in Reiki healing work to deepen and accelerate the healing process. Practice takes place in class so students have an understanding of how to use the symbols and what that feels like.
Students also learn clearing a room techniques, food & nutrition with Reiki, long-distance healing technique, and more. This is a 5 to 6 hour class.
Reiki Master - this class is an attunement to the Reiki Master level which is designed for people who want to go forward teaching Reiki to others. Most people go through Reiki I and Reiki II, experience wonderful healings for themselves and can offer Reiki healings to others. It is not necessary to become a Reiki Master unless one desires to teach. This is a two day workshop.
Robin is an Usui Reiki Master through two different lineages; she was trained through three Master Reiki Teachers from 1997 to 2000. Over the years, Robin has trained Reiki students in Texas and Kansas. She also created an entire Reiki program for a massage school in Montana.
